Support the UCLA Samueli Makerspace

The UCLA Samueli Makerspace is a 9,000-square-foot innovation lab that gives all students the ability to do hands-on engineering from the moment they step food on campus.

Why are donations necessary?

UCLA Samueli was one of the first engineering schools to offer this type of unique space, where students can collaborate, experiment, and put into practice the theories they're learning in class. This space is equipped with a variety of resources, including dozens of 3D printers, laser cutters, two wet labs, and a Virtual Reality room. Donations towards the Makerspace are necessary to keep this collaborative, multi-purpose workspace available and free-of-charge to all students.

How will my donation be used?

Your support will help us continue to acquire new, state-of-the-art tools and machinery, and replenish current supplies. Recently, thanks to past donations, the Makerspace was able to acquire a computer numerical control (CNC) router and a scroll saw—two machines that have had a big impact on students. With your support, we can continue to keep this space open and accessible to our engineering students for years to come.

Thank you!

Thank you for your support! The UCLA Samueli Makerspace is an incredible space for students to bring their most fantastic ideas to life!
