About AAP
As the nation’s largest university-based student diversity academic program, AAP offers a collection of innovative programs annually serving more than 5,500 student members from multi-ethnic, low-income, first-generation, and multi-racial backgrounds. AAP leads the campus in supporting these students at every stage with comprehensive programming and resources – peer learning and counseling, academic and graduate school counseling, access to vital technology resources, Summer Bridge programming for entering freshman and transfer students, and research and scholarship opportunities.

Matching Gifts
Your gift can go even further on Bruin Giving Day, thanks to two generous matches from UCLA alumni. Make a gift to any Undergraduate Education fund (including AAP) and it will be matched dollar for dollar to support Academic Advancement Program scholarships, up to $10,000, thanks to a generous commitment from alumna Maddy Alfano '79! And, thanks to a generous commitment from alumnus Mario Camara '70, JD '73, all gifts to the Academic Advancement Program will be matched 2:1, up to $5,000!
