The Rape Treatment Center at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in providing free, exemplary treatment to rape and sexual assault victims. Victims who turn to the Rape Treatment Center 24-hour emergency medical care, forensic services, advocacy, crisis counseling, longer-term trauma-informed psychotherapy and other forms of support. Stuart House, a program of the Rape Treatment Center, provides free, comprehensive services for sexually abused children in one child-friendly facility where onsite police detectives, prosecutors, expert child forensic interviewers and advocates work as a team to expedite investigations and child protection actions.
