3 Wishes Program

The 3 Wishes Program at UCLA is a palliative care initiative in which clinicians elicit and fulfill final wishes for patients who unfortunately are imminently dying — at no cost to the patient or their families. By celebrating lives and dignifying the dying process, the goal is to improve the end-of-life experience for the patient, their family and the clinicians. The 3 Wishes Program has proven that small acts of kindness help us through the most difficult times and are essential to the healing process. With an average cost of $34 per patient, every contribution can make a difference.
